About the 2018 Conference

The 2018 National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care and Treatment is the largest national conference for comprehensive HIV care and treatment providers, Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program recipients, and stakeholders, sponsored and funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB). The 2018 National Ryan White Conference will take place December 11-14, 2018 at the Gaylord Harbor Convention Center in Oxon Hill, MD. The Clinical Conference will precede the 2018 National Ryan White Conference, taking place December 9-11, 2018.

The 2018 Theme

The 2018 conference theme, Catalyzing Success: Advancing Innovation. Leveraging Data. Ending the HIV Epidemic. recognizes the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program’s commitment to the national goals for ending the HIV epidemic. These goals include:

  • Decreasing new HIV infections
  • Reducing HIV-related health disparities
  • Improving access to HIV care and treatment without stigma and discrimination
  • Achieving a more coordinated national response

Clinical Conference at the 2018 Ryan White Conference on HIV Care and Treatment

Up to 600 physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other key clinical decision makers in Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program-funded clinics and programs are invited to participate in the 2018 Clinical Conference at the National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care and Treatment. A limited number of spots are reserved for RNs and PharmDs who are the primary clinical decision makers in their Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program-funded clinic or program. The Clinical Conference will provide advanced state-of-the-art updates on research, care, and treatment issues in the medical management of HIV infection.  Attendees will learn more about current HIV cure strategies, recent advances in antiretroviral therapy, new research data advances, and new approaches to HIV care.
